Join us Yoga for Stress Relief with Jo Kirsch, a donation-based class, 7:30-8:30pm, Monday, March 30th at Heart of the Village Yoga Studio.

All proceeds benefit the LoveYourBrain Foundation and their flagship yoga and mediation program for traumatic brain injury (TBI) survivors. Every dollar will help make these powerful healing practices affordable and accessible to the TBI community.

Yoga for Stress Relief Class Description:

Slow down, take time for yourself, and release stress so that you can be your best self. This gentle practice, combining yin and restorative yoga, nourishes the body, heals the mind and restores vitality through simple postures.  Yin is an intense form of yoga comprised of holding postures for longer to allow a stretch of the connective tissue, increasing range of motion over time. Restorative Yoga is a form of active therapeutic relaxation that may use props and blankets to modify traditional yoga poses and melt away tension. Be prepared to press the reset button and enjoy the lasting effects of this powerful practice. Perfect for all levels, all ages and all backgrounds.
