By utilizing the relaxation and breathing techniques I've learned, I have been able to gain more control over my anxiety and stress. I have been able to use these techniques to relax and get a full eight hours of sleep, without medication, for the first time since 2006.

Why do Yoga?

Research shows that yoga helps manage or control anxiety, arthritis, asthma, back pain, blood pressure, carpal tunnel syndrome, chronic fatigue, depression, diabetes, epilepsy, headaches, heart disease, multiple sclerosis, stress and other conditions and diseases. In addition, yoga:

  • Boosts self esteem
  • Improves concentration and creativity
  • Lowers fat
  • Improves circulation
  • Stimulates the immune system
  • Creates sense of well being and calm.
