60 minute sessions customized to your interests and goals. Yoga classes may include pranayama (yogic breathing techniques), meditation, and posture practice or a combination of all 3. Private Event Yoga
We would love to offer you and your group a private yoga session! Getting married? No better way than to start your big day with a private yoga session for you and your bridal party. She’s taught veterans, social workers, ski/snowboard academy students, teachers, factory workers, college soccer players, Traumatic Brain Injury survivors, wedding and bachelorette parties, high school students, individuals with cognitive and physical disabilities, trauma survivors, yoga teacher training students, at yoga festivals, conferences, ski resorts, on retreats and in local communities.
Yoga has therapeutic benefits in maintaining a healthy lifestyle. According to the National Institute of Health, scientific evidence shows that yoga supports stress management, mental health, mindfulness, healthy eating, weight loss and quality sleep. Research shows yoga improves strength, balance, flexibility, eases back-pain, reduces arthritis symptoms, benefits heart health, improves brain longevity, helps with traumatic brain injury, helps people suffering from cancer, promotes better self-care, and more.
Currently, in addition to teaching group classes, Jo is working one-on-one with clients on a range of subjects, ranging from healing and recovering from injury and illness; to reducing post traumatic stress and anxiety; to cultivating a regular meditation practice; to studying yoga philosophy; to developing overall well being; and to improve their yoga practice.

Bob has been helping people grow and realize their full potential for over 40 years. Using a down-to-earth practical style of communication and a wisdom that comes with many experiences (and age), Bob has recently been offering one-on-one personal coaching to a limited number of Heart of the Village Studio members. Seeing the unique potential in each student, Bob’s work is student-driven to empower and inspire each student to realize their goals in life! Whether a student’s intentions are to find peace of mind or enduring happiness, to increase strength or flexibility, or to build personal power or resilience, Bob helps guide and support each student along their way.
If your goals are to have specialized training programs designed for your body, Bob will utilize his background in personal training, functional strength training, pain-free performance, and sports coaching to develop exercises just for you. Whether your intentions are to be more lean, to move with more ease, to be stronger, or to perform better, Bob will coach you through body-weight and functional-strength-building routines, weight-training methods, and day-to-day training programs, all of which are designed to progress over time.

Young Adult Personal Coaching

Bringing the art and science of yoga into the lives of young adults (ages 21 to 32) to promote personal wellness and health education, these 60-minute sessions can be in the Studio, online, or outside. These sessions are for local young adults who want to improve their own feelings of health and wellness, improve functional strength, work towards personal fitness goals, or learn more about bringing yoga practice into their lives. Graduates of HOTV Yoga Teacher Training program may request an additional 20% discount. Interested persons should email [email protected] to arrange a consultation; limited spaces are available, and are intended to be filled by those with limited means to pay normal rates or with special needs.
