About
Cristina’s love for yoga started straight out of College, right after earning her Bachelor’s in Political Science. A lifelong learner, she found true wonder exploring a new worldview; especially one that had so much wisdom and beauty to offer. After completing her Master’s in Humanities, opportunity came knocking, and her husband and her beloved German Shepherd (Bagheera) moved from Monterrey, México to North Bennington, Vermont in the summer of 2021.
The question now was where to find a studio that aligned with what she loved about yoga? And after searching for it, she found her match with her teachers and mentors at Heart of the Village Yoga who encouraged her and guided her. So, when that need to learn more deeply about yoga came, they pointed her in the right direction, and she earned her 200 hour Teacher Training at Yoga Mandali in Saratoga Springs, NY during the fall of 2024 to early 2025. She’s absolutely thrilled to join the team that she adores! You can find her in the afternoon classes when she is not giving class herself.
In her spare time, she is out trying to learn how to snowboard, (doing her best at) gardening, taking out her (now) two German Shepherds: Vita and Bagheera, reading (and reading some more), and spending time with her husband and loved ones.
