A Women’s Yoga & Art Retreat by the Sea

with Jo Kirsch, Anharad Llewelyn and Amy Chamberlain

Monday, September 28 to Friday, October 2, 2026

Step away from the noise of daily life and reconnect with yourself during this rejuvenating five-day women’s yoga retreat on the ocean in Rockport, Massachusetts. Nestled along the breathtaking shoreline of Long Beach, our serene oceanfront setting offers sweeping views, fresh sea air, and 500 yards of soft sand and flat shoreline—perfect for peaceful walks, meditation, and relaxation.

This immersive retreat is designed to nourish body, mind, and creativity. Each morning begins with a guided walking meditation on the beach, followed by an energizing yoga practice to awaken the body and calm the mind. As the day unfolds, you’ll have time to explore, connect with nature, and enjoy the peaceful rhythm of coastal life.

In the afternoons, unwind with deeply restorative yoga sessions led by Yoga Therapist Jo Kirsch, designed to release tension and leave you feeling grounded and renewed.

Beyond yoga, you’ll experience the natural beauty of Cape Ann with a guided hike through Halibut Point State Park, known for its dramatic coastal views and scenic trails. Adventurous participants may also choose to sea kayak along the coastline, while others may simply relax on the beach, journal, or soak in the ocean breeze.

A Retreat for Creativity and Connection

Creativity flows naturally by the sea. Throughout the week, artist Anharad Llewelyn will guide you through gentle, inspiring art sessions using watercolors and collage to capture the beauty of the surrounding landscape. No prior art experience is needed—just curiosity and a willingness to explore.

One magical evening, join us for a Sip & Paint gathering on the deck, where you’ll create a plein air acrylic painting overlooking the ocean—your own handmade keepsake from this unforgettable retreat.

Nourishment for Body and Soul

Renowned chef Amy Chamberlain will prepare fresh, nourishing meals each day, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Her thoughtfully crafted menus are designed to energize and delight, using wholesome ingredients to support your wellness journey.

As the sun sets, we’ll gather around the fire, listen to the waves, and enjoy meaningful conversation under the stars.

Growing up in a family of artists, Anharad Llewelyn has been creating artwork and delving into art history since she was a child. For the last 20 years Anharad has been a high school art teacher in the Manchester area, but now enters a new chapter of teaching and learning. She will be retiring from teaching school and is embarking on destination art retreats, as well as continuing to teach adults and curious artists of all levels in the Northshire region. Anharad has a passion for igniting creativity in people of all ages and experience levels; encouraging them to find JOY through the art of self-expression.

Anharad is an art journal enthusiast, and she enjoys painting with watercolor, acrylics, water based oil, and mixed media. She often uses hand written letters and pages from recycled books to enhance her mixed media paintings, adding another element of her personality into the work.

In addition to teaching and creating art, Anharad enjoys travel, yoga, hiking, x-country skiing, kayaking, and taking as many art classes as she can to expand her own practice.
